Alec Baldwin vs. Liberal Bullies BY ANN COULTER

Alec Baldwin vs. Liberal Bullies
I’m with Alec Baldwin on punching aggressive paparazzi photographers. I’m with him against the word police. I’m with him on the stalker. I’m with him on using an electronic device on a plane before takeoff. I’m with him on Kim Basinger playing visitation games with their daughter. What are conservatives doing demanding Baldwin’s head for calling some pestilential paparazzi a “c*ck-s*cking little f*g.” It is perfectly obvious Baldwin was just cursing the guy out with whatever bad words popped into his head, not engaging in “homophobia” against an actual gay person.
Conservatives attacking Baldwin for his latest fit of (justified) anger are being small-time and shortsighted. You think this sets liberals back? They don’t care about Baldwin. You’re just reinforcing their worldview, where careers are ended over a word.
Liberals don’t mind abortion, sexual promiscuity, adultery, lying or criminal behavior. They save all their moral indignation for people who use politically incorrect words. Instead of simply filing this one away under “Liberal Hypocrisy” for future use, conservatives are validating the left’s next attack on a conservative.
As proof that liberals don’t care about Baldwin, I believe I am the only person who keeps pointing out the truth about his fake denunciation of Rep. Henry Hyde back during Clinton’s impeachment in 1998. On the Conan O’Brien show, Baldwin thundered, “If we were in another country … we would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to (Republicans’) homes and kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families, for what they’re doing to this country.”
This is regularly cited as proof of Baldwin’s heinousness.
I have friends who were there and saw it: Immediately after this rant, Conan staffers dressed as medical emergency workers rushed out with an oxygen tank for Baldwin. It was a joke — a self-deprecating one at that.
The oxygen tank proves beyond dispute that it was a joke. If liberals cared about Baldwin, they would have given us this simple explanation. How about Baldwin’s stalker? Baldwin and his innocent wife are being terrorized by a frightening, dangerous lunatic. This woman turned Baldwin’s life into a living hell, showing up at his residences in New York City and East Hampton, calling him 30 times a day and bombarding him with hundreds of emails. Like every stalker, she claimed she only wanted “closure.” There’s never “closure” with a stalker. But tabloid reporters are leading the vendetta against Baldwin, making Gloria Allred sound like Margaret Thatcher. I’ve seen a disturbing number of comments about the case suggesting that Baldwin must have had a one-night stand with this loon.
On one side we have a manifestly delusional woman and on the other a famous man with a temper who is not insane. He says he never slept with her. Why do we have to split the baby? It’s the old “there is some truth on both sides.”
The same injustice was done to Clarence Thomas, when he was falsely accused by Anita Hill of sexual harassment. Although 70 percent of the public believed Hill was lying after watching the hearings, the media consensus was that Thomas must have done something to Hill, despite Hill being proved a liar over and over again. As Time magazine headlined its article on the case: “He Said, She Said.”
No, it was: “He Said, She Lied.” Here’s a world exclusive for liberals: Sometimes women lie.
This is the advantage aggressive bullies have over their victims. Even when the public can see that they are lunatics, they still manage to dirty up their prey.
Baldwin is also a warrior against colossally useless government regulations. Less than two years after Baldwin was thrown off an American Airlines flight for playing “Words With Friends” on his phone before takeoff, the Federal Aviation Administration finally scrapped this pointless and enraging rule. (Two years to get rid of a useless government regulation is lightning speed by Washington standards.)
Just this week, George Mason economics professor Tyler Cowen wrote an article in The New York Times remarking on how years of complaints about the no-electronics rule “did not bring concrete change, mostly because of regulatory inertia.” He noted that conservatives have long denounced the more than 1 million federal regulatory restrictions and argued that liberals should care, too. (“More than 1 million” is not hyperbole — that’s how many federal regulations there really are.)
Baldwin cared — and got results! Now we need him to do something about the idiotic instructions on how to use a seatbelt.
The most spectacular of Baldwin’s alleged misbehaviors — the angry voicemail he left for his daughter — resulted from his absolutely legitimate frustration over divorce laws written by feminists. His ex-wife, Kim Basinger, was jerking Baldwin around on child custody and he exploded in rage.
I know people who were with Baldwin before he made that call. He had been working overtime all week on two TV shows, but instead of kicking back with friends when it was over, Baldwin went out of his way to keep a phone appointment with his daughter.
She didn’t answer and he exploded, mostly at his wife, albeit via an angry message to his daughter. Baldwin’s voicemail was immediately released to the press by Basinger’s people.
The court punished him for leaving the message. It did not punish Basinger for leaking it to the press.
Up and down the family law system, the deck is relentlessly stacked against men. There are state and federal laws against “deadbeat dads” — rigorously enforced — but judges rarely enforce a father’s visitation rights.
This has real-life consequences. Feminists don’t care, just as they don’t care about the real-life consequences of women in combat, abortion on demand or insane sexual harassment rules. It’s only about their side winning. They’re for the Girl Team.
Alec Baldwin: Victim of feminism.
Finally, when Sarah Palin entered enemy territory to appear on “Saturday Night Live” in 2008, Baldwin was an absolute gentleman to her — unlike the drama queen Tina Fey, who refused to share the stage with Palin.
Bullying is the essence of politics for the left. They bully those they disdain, like Palin, with adolescent insults. They bully everyone with the threat of losing a career because of a word. They bully Americans with more than 1 million federal regulations. They bully men through feminist-designed divorce and sexual harassment laws –magically suspended in the case of President Clinton because liberals approved of his pro-abortion views.
That isn’t the rule of law; it’s the rule of bullies.
Conservatives believe people have a right to be left alone, whether from the word police, the government or delusional nuts, no matter how much they want “closure.” But most of all, conservatives don’t think the rules apply only to our political opponents — a liberal trademark, borrowed from the feminists.
We apply our principles even to people whose politics we dislike.

This morning, leaders of the U.S. House and Senate honored Native American code talkers in a Congressional Gold Medal ceremony held in Emancipation Hall of the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center. The medal – Congress’s highest expression of appreciation – was awarded in recognition of the valor and dedication of these code talkers as members of our Armed Forces during World War I and World War II.

The Senate reconvened at 9:30 AM today. Following an hour of morning business, the Senate resumed consideration of S. 1197, the Fiscal Year 2014 Defense authorization bill.

The Senate then began up to 6 hours of debate on two amendments dealing with sexual assault in the military, one offered by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and another offered by Sens. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH). Senators are working on a unanimous consent agreement on the timing of those votes.

Yesterday, the Senate rejected two amendments to the bill concerning movement of detainees at Guantanamo Bay offered by Sens. Carl Levin (D-MI) and Ayotte. Both required 60 votes for adoption.

The House reconvened at 10 AM today.  They then recessed until Noon. They will be addressing the following bills today:

Marino (R-PA) - Amendment No. 6 - Requires the Secretary of Interior to include transmission and pipelines across Federal lands as a part of its plan to address new energy supplies for America.

Another day brings another raft of stories about problems with the Obamacare website as Obama administration officials walk back their prior claims that the website would be working by the end of November.

The AP reports today, “The website will still be a work in progress beyond the end of the month, Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Tuesday, appearing to soften a promise that the site will be working by then for the vast majority of users. ‘The 30th of November is not a magic go, no go date. It is a work of constant improvement. We have some very specific things we know we need to complete by the 30th and that punch list is getting knocked out every week,’ Sebelius told The Associated Press. . . . The Obama administration has staked its credibility on turning around by the end of this month. From the president on down, officials have said the website will be running smoothly for the ‘vast majority of users’ by Nov. 30, but have been vague about what that actually means. The definition has morphed in the past few weeks. At an Oct. 30 congressional hearing, Sebelius projected ‘an optimally functioning website’ by the end of November. On Nov. 5, Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, testified that the site would be ‘fully functioning’ by that date. Last week, President Barack Obama said the ‘the improvement will be marked and noticeable.’ On Tuesday, Sebelius told the AP it would work for most users by the end of the month, but would still require fixes because of the magnitude of the first-of-its-kind project. . . . When asked why officials pushed ahead with the Oct. 1 launch date despite warnings the site hadn't been properly tested, Sebelius said they were hoping to give consumers as much time as possible to enroll before coverage begins in January. ‘We were hoping to maximize that,’ she said. ‘Clearly that was a bad call.’”

The AP story notes, “On Capitol Hill on Tuesday, a panel of computer security experts raised another fear — that the website is vulnerable to hacking. . . . Asked about those concerns, Sebelius said: ‘I feel like it's safe. Absolutely,’ adding, ‘when there have been issues identified or flagged, it's immediately fixed.’” But Reuters writes, “President Barack Obama's site is riddled with security flaws that put user data of millions of people at risk and it should be shut down until fixed, several technology experts warned lawmakers on Tuesday. The testimony at a congressional hearing could increase concerns among many Americans about Obama's healthcare overhaul, popularly known as Obamacare. . . . In a rapid ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question-and-answer session during a Republican-sponsored hearing by the House of Representatives Science, Space and Technology Committee, Republican Representative Chris Collins of New York asked four experts about the security of the site: ‘Do any of you think today that the site is secure?’ The answer from the experts, which included two academics and two private sector technical researchers, was a unanimous ‘no.’ ‘Would you recommend today that this site be shut down until it is?’ asked Collins . . . . Three of the experts said ‘yes,’ while a fourth said he did not have enough information to make the call. . . . The experts said the site needed to be completely rebuilt to run more efficiently, making it easier to protect. They said runs on 500 million lines of code, or 25 times the size of Facebook, one of the world's busiest sites. ‘When your code base is that large it's going to be indefensible,’ Morgan Wright, CEO of a firm known as Crowd Sourced Investigations, said in an interview after testifying at the hearing.”

And another Reuters piece points out, “President Barack Obama, who has portrayed himself as surprised by technical problems with the government's new health care website, was briefed earlier this year on a consultant's report that warned of possible widespread site failures, the White House said on Tuesday. There have been weeks of questions about whether Obama understood the depth of the site's problems and let it open anyway, or simply ‘did not have enough awareness’ of them, as the president stated at a November 14 news conference. . . . Even as the administration fended off criticism of the so-called ‘front end’ of the system, officials revealed Tuesday that they had not completed development of the ‘back end,’ the financial management component needed to finalize federal subsidies for consumers who buy health plans. A spokeswoman for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the lead agency for the website, said it would not be completed until mid-January, weeks after the first enrollees are scheduled to begin receiving benefits under the Affordable Care Act, passed in 2010 as Obama's signature domestic policy.”

One would hope then that at least the administration wouldn’t claim surprise at today’s Gallup poll, which finds, “Uninsured Americans who have visited a federal or state health insurance exchange website generally have been unhappy with their experience. Sixty-three percent of those who have visited say their experience using the health exchange was negative, including 30% who say it was ‘very negative.’”

Meanwhile, Obamacare continues to have problems at a state level. Another Reuters story today is headlined, “Oregon healthcare exchange website never worked, has no subscribers,” which basically says it all. And in North Carolina, the News & Observer reports, “Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina said Tuesday that it will raise rates as much as 24 percent on 2013 individual health insurance plans that are being extended next year. The increase is double the price inflation for the same health plans just a year ago . . . . The health plans in question were slated for elimination under the Affordable Care Act, the nation’s health care law, but Blue Cross said last week it would offer the plans next year. President Barack Obama urged insurers to extend the individual plans for one year amid a public outcry over forced cancellations and steep price increases for replacement plans. . . . In recent months, Blue Cross had mailed out more than 151,000 plan cancellations, affecting more than 230,000 customers on those individual policies. The letters listed 2014 premiums under new individual plans that comply with the Affordable Care Act. Some customers saw rate decreases, but many were shaken by increases that doubled and tripled their costs.”

In a speech on the Senate floor today, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell reminded Democrats that Republicans warned about all of this when they and the president were first trying to jam this unpopular law through Congress. “[T]he problems we’re seeing shouldn’t come as news to anyone – least of all our Democrat friends. Because what we’ve seen are the utterly predictable consequences of Obamacare. And the fact is, a lot of folks warned about these kinds of consequences coming to pass. But the President’s political machine just steamrolled anybody who spoke up. They laughed it all off. Dismissed everyone else as naysayers and cynics. When all the while they basically knew we were right. Countless independent experts, health-care professionals, and insurance authorities across the country all warned about what we’re seeing now. And so did many of us. If only the Democrats who run Washington had listened. But the President needed their votes for a bill he hoped would define his legacy, so they gambled that their constituents would just learn to live with Obamacare and forget the false promises. In other words, Washington Democrats were specifically warned about the kinds of consequences we’re seeing and they voted for Obamacare anyway. Republicans repeatedly warned about Americans losing their health plans. Repeatedly. We repeatedly warned about Americans losing access to their doctors and hospitals. We repeatedly warned about rising costs and skyrocketing premiums. Check the Congressional Record. We warned and we warned and we warned about each of these things. Frankly, we shouldn’t have had to. It doesn’t take an actuary to figure this stuff out. And the things my constituents now have to put up with as a result of this law are simply unacceptable.”

He concluded, “One of our colleagues on the other side was asked in 2009 if she’d accept ‘100% responsibility’ and ‘100% accountability’ for the failure or success of any legislation she voted for. She said she would. So she and her colleagues now have a choice. They can keep trying to distance themselves from Obamacare in public while simultaneously protecting it from meaningful change in private – to keep standing by as this trainwreck unloads on the middle class. Or they can simply accept that they were wrong to ignore all the warnings, then work with Republicans to repeal and replace Obamacare with real, bipartisan health care reform. If Washington Democrats are looking for a political exit, that’s the only meaningful one available.”

Rare Obamacare ‘Success Story’: Dog In Colorado Is Now Insured

Owner Jokes: ‘As Long As Baxter’s Covered That’s All That Counts’
“It had to happen: ObamaCare is literally going to the dogs. One dog, at least; Shane Smith, of Fort Collins, says his dog Baxter now has a health insurance account in his name through Connect for Health Colorado. Smith registered with Connect for Health Colorado because, guess what? His insurance was cancelled by Obamacare. The next thing he knew … he got a letter informing him Baxter had a plan.” (“CO Man's Dog Gets Insurance Via Obamacare,” Breitbart, 11/20/13)

57 Year Graphics Expert: Obama Birth Certificate Forged

WARNING: After a recent wave of identify thefts, the FBI estimates there are over 500 fake Obamacare websites set up for the sole purpose of stealing your personal information. So protect yourself and remember: the real one is the one that doesn't work.

And some folks wonder why THEY fight to stay in office !!!!

It's a TESTING TUESDAY.  This is a test to see if you are pissed off today.  Are you pissed off yet?  I'm betting you will be after reading this.

The US has entered into a contract with a real estate firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices. The
government has decided it no longer needs these buildings, most of which are located on prime land in towns and cities
across the country. The sale of these properties will fetch about $19 billion.
A regular real estate commission will be paid to the company that was given the exclusive listing for handling the sales.
That company is CRI and it belongs to a man named Richard Blum.   Richard Blum is the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein and is shown with her in the picture above. (Most voters and many of the government people who approved the deal have not made the connection between the two because they have different last names).
Senator Feinstein and her husband stand to make a fortune (EST at between $950 million and $1.1 billion!!) from these transactions. His company is the sole real estate on the sale. CRI will be making a minimum of 3% and as much as 6% commission on each and every sale.  All of the properties that are being sold are all fully paid for. They were purchased with U.S. taxpayers dollars.
The U.S.P.S. is allowed free and clear, tax exempt use. The only cost to keep them open is the cost to actually keep the doors open and the heat and lights on. The United States Postal Service doesn't even have to pay county property taxes on these subject properties.   QUESTION?   Would you put your house in foreclosure just because you couldn't afford to pay the electric bill?
Well, the folks in Washington have given the Post Office the OK to do it!   Worse yet, most of the net proceeds of the sales will go back to the U.S.P.S, an organization that is so poorly managed that they have lost $117 billion dollars in the past 10 years!
No one in the mainstream media is even raising an eyebrow over the conflict of interest and on the possibility of corruption on the sale of billions of dollars worth of public assets. How does a U.S. Senator from San Francisco manage to get away with organizing and lobbying such a sweet deal?   Has our government become so elitist that they have no fear of oversight?   And it's no mere coincidence that these two public service crooks have different last names; a feeble attempt at avoiding transparency in these type of transactions.
Pass this info on before it's pulled from the Internet.
I verified this on Snopes:  and Snopes usually puts a liberal spin on whatever it reports.
It also was verified on which is a more reliable source for checking Internet rumors.  You can read what they said by clicking on:'s the test...Does this PISS YOU OFF?  If it doesn't, then don't complain about the corruption and the ineptness in D.C.  You apparently have given up or have turned a blind eye and don't care.

Terrorist Threat to the Homeland Continues,
General Says U.S. in the Most Dangerous
Situation Since the 1930s
Nov 23, 2013

What You Need To Know
In testimony late last week before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Matt Olsen, Director of the Nat'l Counterterrorism Center stated that al-Qaida is still the ideological leader of a worldwide terrorist movement and that the threat to the U.S. homeland, as well as it's citizens and interests abroad, remains persistent.
Specifically addressing the domestic threats, Olsen stated that al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) remains the affiliate most likely to attempt transnational attacks against the U.S.. AQAP's 3 major attempted attacks against the U.S. to date—the airliner plot of December 2009, an attempted attack against U.S.-bound cargo planes in October 2010, and an airliner plot in May 2012—demonstrate the group's continued pursuit of high-profile attacks against the West, its awareness of Western security procedures, and its efforts to adapt. The group also continues its efforts to radicalize and mobilize individuals outside Yemen.
Other groups mentioned in Olson's testimony as posing a threat to the homeland include Pakistan-based Al-Qaida and Taliban, Somalia-based Al Shabaab, operatives working under the sponsorship of Iran and a few others.
Olsen reports that the most direct threats to the homeland are Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVSs), with lone actors or insular groups who act autonomously being the most serious.
You can find Director Olsen's full testimony here.
In related news:
U.S. Air Force General, Thomas G. McInerney (Ret.), former Vice Chief of Staff for the U.S. Air Force and Commander of the 11th Air Force in Alaska, this week warned that rising Russian and Iranian influence, coupled with America's botched foreign policy and waning Middle East presence, has put the "U.S. in the most dangerous situation it has been in since the 1930s just prior to World War II." In particular, General McInerney highlighted the danger of President Obama's mishandling of longtime U.S. ally Egypt, which has recently aligned itself with Russia, as well as the unilateral disarming of the U.S. military. As pointed out in last week's issue of Threat Journal, Egypt's shift towards Russia, along with a multi-billion dollar arms deal designed to let Egypt attain parity with the Israeli Defense Forces, is a disastrous and dangerous development for the U.S..
Listen to General McInerney's comments here.
So as to further emphasize General McInerney's comments, this week President Obama announced plans to eliminate a full ICBM squadron and destroy its missile silos, all while our enemies / adversaries are building their nuclear arsenals and conventional forces. The President's move comes less than 3 years after he assured lawmakers that the New START arms reduction treaty would not lead to deep cuts in the ICBM force.

Fuel Removal Underway at Fukushima Unit #4,
Now Comes the Scary Part
Nov 23, 2013

What You Need To Know
Naomi Hirose, the President of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) this week told reporters that the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and the resulting meltdown of multiple nuclear reactors, was a “warning to the world” and that "the nuclear power industry must be “prepared for the worst."
His comments came as TEPCO workers began the effort of removing fuel assemblies from the severely damaged Unit #4 spent fuel pool. As AlertsUSA subscribers were notified last week, those efforts began on Monday with the movement of 22 new, unused and comparatively safe fuel assemblies into a transfer cask also lowered into the pool. From there, the cask is removed, decontaminated, then transported on a trailer to an undamaged building housing the plant's common storage pool.
TEPCO will begin attempting to extract some of the hot, highly radioactive fuel assemblies following a brief pause for a safety review. As described here and here, this is where the dangerous part of the fuel removal process begins due to extensive damage to the reactor building, the fuel racks, the fuel assemblies themselves as well as the ever present threat of additional earthquakes. It is expected that the overall fuel removal effort will take, at a minimum, until the end of 2014.
AlertsUSA monitors activities at the Fukushima facility 24/7 and will immediately notify service subscribers of threatening developments via text messages to their mobile devices.

Illinois 4th grade book says white voters rejected Barack Obama because of his race

Fourth graders in Dupo Illinois are reading a biography of Barack Obama that’s raising eyebrows among St. Clair County parents. The book, which supplements the school’s Common Core curriculum, blames television for the negative behaviors the first African-American president picked up as a teen:
Screen Shot 2013-11-21 at 7.05.21 AM
The book – brought to the attention this week of those on the “Moms Against Duncan – MAD” Facebook page, goes on to say white Americans were hesitant to vote for a black president, and that Obama pushed the race issue to bring the nation together.
“But some people said Americans weren’t ready for that much change. Sure Barack was a nice fellow, they said. But white voters would never vote for a black president. Other angry voices were raised. Barack’s former pastor called the country a failure. God would damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said.”
The Bluffview Elementary students were told the book’s content would be tested for grades. That brought outrage among parents just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, one of the “MAD” moms reported.
This biography of America’s 44th president, entitled “Barack Obama,” is written by Jane Sutcliffe and published by Lerner. The book is part of Scholastic’s “Reading Counts” program acceptable to the controversial Common Core curriculum standards.
An online sampling to “Barack Obama” is available HERE.
BooksAs to the “Moms Against Duncan” (MAD), which formed on Facebook to pushback on U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan’s recent comment about “white suburban moms” and their resistance to the national Common Core curriculum standards, here’s what one of the MAD moms wrote this week about Duncan and Common Core:
“Duncan’s foot-in-mouth-disease comes from the fact that he doesn’t understand that this is no longer a political thing. This is about our children. As a teacher who left the classroom because of Common Core and the abuse of our children, I can promise it has nothing to do with color, or sex, or education level, or income, or political party. As a Democrat myself I will be voting all over party lines in November. If you support Common Core….we will show you the door. There are a lot of Dems who have signed onto Harkins bill, which will effectively remove all local boards of education, and they need to watch their re-election bids carefully.
“As the co-founder of MAD (Moms Against Duncan) we are linking groups of parents all over this country together. Our ultimate goal is a 10% standardized test opt out rate in every school K-8. We will corrupt the data so it is useless. No school scores, no teacher scores, no student scores. No databases, no prison planning data, no economic development data. Pearson, Gates and Duncan can kiss our multicolored backsides. Our children are NOT data. We want all this wasted money back in the hands of our teachers.
“If Arne Duncan thinks he can take a poop on someone’s yard and apologize by saying “it would have looked better if I’d been over a few feet” he is sadly mistaken. We are America’s MOMS (and Dads) and WE ARE MAD!!!”
Illinois Review has reached out to the school’s 4th grade teachers as to whether parents have complained to them about the book.
