Dinesh D'Souza With Dennis Michael Lynch: Hillary's America

Congressman Jason Smith Weekly Newsletter

Dear Friend,
Talk tough to your allies and ignore your enemies. That has become the foreign policy doctrine which will define our current President. President Obama's decision to abstain from voting on an anti-Israel United Nations (UN) resolution this week is a clear betrayal of our strong alliance and our enduring commitment to support Israel. The nation of Israel serves as one of our most outspoken allies to combat radical Islamic terrorism and is our strongest voice in the Middle East. Nonetheless, President Obama and Secretary Kerry not only ignored our ally in a time of need - they even went one step further during a speech by Secretary Kerry in which they all but blamed Israel for the decades long conflict with Palestine.
In his closing days in office, President Obama is revealing his global convictions that will come to define his presidency - a belief that a weaker America, one that doesn't stand with its allies and one that doesn't follow through on lines drawn in the sand with our enemies, somehow increases the safety and security of American families. As the threat of terror grows and is carried out around the world and here in the United States, this is the exact wrong message to send. While these actions may have taken place thousands of miles away, the safety and threat of terror impacting those of us in southeast and south central Missouri, or any part of our country for that matter, is a major concern.
The result of this decision for Israel could potentially be devastating, but sadly this isn't the first time President Obama has turned his back on our allies. The legacy that President Obama will leave behind is a long list of foreign policy failures that have left the world and the United States less safe than it was 8 years ago. President Obama's habit of alienating America's allies while catering to our enemies has resulted in increased instability in the Middle East - like the genocide of over 400,000 people in Syria and a strengthening of ISIS, chaos in Libya that led to American casualties in Benghazi, and the disastrous Iran nuclear deal that has only strengthened the leading world sponsor of terrorism. Meanwhile the President seems more concerned with making excuses and sanctioning Russia for Hillary Clinton's failed Presidential run than standing up to those who actually want to do physical harm to American soldiers and families.
If anything, the actions of the last week have further confirmed my belief that the time has come to end the use of American taxpayer dollars to fund the ineffective and scandal plagued United Nations. America should not be governed by an outside entity like the UN that treats our freedom like property and does not have our country's best interests at heart. In fact, US taxpayers fund nearly 22% of the UN's annual budget while at the same time they prioritize attempts to reduce our sovereignty and security instead of promoting peace and the principles of democracy. Simply put, the United States need not participate in an organization which diminishes our country's place and standing in the world.
In response this week President-elect Trump vowed to stop allowing Israel to 'be treated with such total disdain and disrespect' - a promising sign that we will restore our long-standing alliance with Israel. Of course, the response from the Obama Administration, was to chastise the President-elect for not abiding by 'protocol' and to refrain from 'meddling' in decisions until after the inauguration. That response could not have been more indicative of a tone deaf administration that not only fails to acknowledge their own mistakes, but shows a dangerous arrogance in their commitment to inflict liberal ideology that stands at odds with the American people. It also demonstrates how out-of-touch and unaware the Obama administration is for what is coming the next four years - a dismantling of its disastrous policies, real change to a broken system, and draining a swamp that now extends to an international level.
What's Great in the 8th
I had a great discussion with over 20 healthcare professionals in Farmington during the first of my healthcare roundtable meetings I held last week across southeast and south central Missouri. Over the past week, I have gathered a list of problems and solutions from folks across southeast and south central Missouri concerned with the rising cost of health care in this country including doctors, patients, pharmacists, small business owners and families.
During our healthcare roundtable meeting in Cape Girardeau, we had a great discussion about how to fix our broken system. The things I learned from local business owners, doctors, and other medical professionals during this meeting will help me be an even more effective advocate for our friends and neighbors in need of truly affordable care.
In Kennett, I heard a lot of concerns with the care our Veterans are receiving. Some of the VA's rules and bureaucracy are ridiculous and are hurting the people who fought for us. During this roundtable meeting, we discussed how we must streamline the system and put our Veterans first.
At our healthcare forum in Poplar Bluff, I heard a lot of comments about problems with generic drug costs, high premiums, high deductibles, and the lack of cost transparency. The problems we face are extremely complicated, but talking them through with the people who deal with them every day was extraordinarily helpful.
At our West Plains healthcare roundtable, we discussed the challenges rural areas face in supplying high-quality care at a competitive price. Attracting and keeping top-quality doctors can be very difficult, and our citizens face different health problems than people in urban or suburban areas. We need to work to ensure the people of rural Missouri can receive the same quality of care as anyone else.
During our healthcare roundtable in Rolla, we discussed ways to control the cost of healthcare and restore the doctor patient relationship. I look forward to working with the new Trump Administration to repeal Obamacare and provide Americans with the affordable and high-quality healthcare options they deserve.
A festive Ozark Christmas Community Celebration was held at Mount Zion Church in Shannon County to celebrate the heritage of the Akers Community. Completed in 1949, the Mount Zion Community Church of Akers has served as a unique place for people to have gatherings, worship services, community events, reunions and weddings along the upper Current River. I was delighted to see people from the Akers community come together to celebrate this little cobblestone church that means so much to their community.
I am pleased to hear Hartmann US will begin production in Rolla next month. Hartmann produces egg cartons that are used around the world and this is their first US facility. I am confident that Hartmann's investment in Rolla will be a tremendous asset for the region.

Alert: Obama seizes Bundy Ranch area in massive last minute land grab

Designation of Gold Butte area could lead to another standoff with furious local land owners and patriots across country

Update: The Hill is now reporting that even if incoming President Donald Trump wanted to reverse this massive land grab he could face a “prolonged legal battle.”
We now know that this move by Obama was made to box Trump in.
Undoing Obama’s national monument designations — the latest protecting two massive areas in the American West — could prove a heavy lift as well, likely requiring a prolonged legal battle.
No president has ever reversed a predecessor’s actions to create a monument under the Antiquities Act.
The Obama administration and environmental groups argue it can’t legally be done, though some Republican lawmakers argue otherwise.
Make no mistake, this massive federal government power grab was done in the last days of Obama’s presidency with the hopes of it being impossible to overturn.
(INTELLIHUB) — With a stroke of the pen President Obama has unilaterally declared vast swaths of land in Utah and Nevada as two new national monuments, thus putting them under control of the federal government.
Startlingly, the area in Nevada includes the site of the infamous Bundy Ranch standoff as well as land very close to the Bundy Ranch itself. With this move Obama has possibly triggered another armed standoff while also heading off any moves set to be made by incoming president Donald Trump.
A “fact sheet” put out by the White House reads:
Today, President Obama will designate two new national monuments, protecting sacred sites, spectacular scenery, and important natural and cultural resources in the desert landscapes of southeastern Utah and southern Nevada. The creation of the Bears Ears National Monument in Utah and the Gold Butte National Monument in Nevada follow years of robust public input from tribes, local elected officials, and diverse stakeholders, and draws from legislation introduced in Congress.
In addition to protecting more land and water than any Administration in history, President Obama has taken unprecedented steps to elevate the voices of Native peoples in the management of our natural resources.  Today’s actions build on this important work, and further demonstrate the President’s commitment to protecting sacred sites and our land, water and wildlife for future generations.
Gold Butte National Monument
Located in Clark County, Nevada just northeast of the outskirts of Las Vegas, the Gold Butte National Monument spans nearly 300,000 acres and will protect significant cultural resources, important geological formations, and vital plant and wildlife habitat. The monument will provide critical protections for important Native American historical sites, as well as areas that are currently used for traditional purposes by tribes. Notably, the area includes abundant rock art, archeological artifacts, and rare fossils, including recently discovered dinosaur tracks dating back hundreds of millions of years. In recent years these resources have faced increasing damage from threats such as deliberate destruction and vandalism, and today’s designation will help ensure that these cultural and archaeological treasures are better protected.
The monument will serve as an important connection between already protected lands, including Lake Mead Recreation Area and the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument across the Arizona border, protecting key wildlife corridors for large mammals such as desert bighorn sheep and mountain lions, and vital habitat for the threatened Mojave desert tortoise. Additionally, the monument will protect important historic resources. Structures that detail western ranching heritage can still be found in the Gold Butte area, as well as an early twentieth-century abandoned mining town and sites associated with Spanish explorers from the late eighteenth century.
Today’s action follows decades of local support from tribes, local stakeholders and conservationists, and draws from legislation that was first introduced in 2008.
Right now it is extremely difficult to confirm exactly how much of the land in and around the Bundy Ranch is now a national monument but a map put out by the Las Vegas Review seems to line up directly with the Bundy grazing allotment.

“Obama just designated the Bundy Ranch a national monument”

Vocativ is reporting that multiple individuals involved with the original Bundy standoff have already made it clear that they plan to stand up to this latest federal tyranny.
“Members of the self-styled militias that swarmed to the aid of Cliven Bundy outside of Las Vegas in 2014 — and who later joined the rancher’s sons to seize a federal wildlife refuge in rural Oregon — said they were readying for another showdown. Obama’s move on Wednesday to protect 300,000 acres of federal land around Gold Butte, close to the Bundy ranch, comes as two dozen people await trials for their roles in the Nevada and Oregon standoffs, which emboldened right-wing militants across America and became a powerful symbol of anti-government sentiment,” read the report.
“Get your gear ready,” wrote Jon Ritzheimer, one of the men who used handguns and assault rifles to hole up in Oregon’s Malheur National Wildlife Refuge for 41 days last year. “Obama just designated the Bundy Ranch a national monument.”
“Others with ties to patriot groups and militia movements online responded with a bit more force. “Locked and loaded ready to go,” wrote Chris Border, a member of the Cliven Bundy’s Army! Facebook group, which boasts more than 2,000 members. “Tired of this crap and time to do something.”
One has to wonder what exactly are the reasons for this new land grab by President Obama in the last days of his presidency. It’s extremely hard to imagine that it is not at least partially connected to the Bundy’s and the standoffs in both Nevada and Oregon.
More importantly, this area may actually include land that has documented precious metals throughout it as detailed in the video report below.

More information as to the exact implications of this massive land grab are sure to be released in the coming days and will be covered here extensively.
Note: An interesting discussion about the implications surrounding Obama’s new land grab was also recently released by patriots in the area, which can be viewed here.

What are the implications of the UN Security Council’s anti-Israel vote? Here’s the short version.

It was deeply disappointing (though unfortunately not surprising) that on the eve of Hanukkah and Christmas, President Obama helped an anti-Israel resolution pass in the United Nations Security Council on Friday.

The final vote was essentially unanimous — 14 nations in favor, while the U.S. officially abstained. But in this case the “abstention” was cosmetic. Mr. Obama supported this move. If he hadn’t, he would have done what American Presidents historically do when facing resolutions against the Jewish State: veto it.

In the days ahead, I will provide more detailed analysis.
For now, it’s important to note that this is not simply the meaningless act of UN diplomats blowing hot air. This resolution actually puts the State of Israel, our leaders, our citizens and businesses who work with and trade with us in very serious legal jeopardy.

Like many Evangelicals, I want there to be a peaceful resolution of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. But I don’t believe a solution should be mandated — much less forced — by the world on Israel. There should be direct talks between both sides. The talks should be serious and constructive and should lead to the end of the conflict and real protection of Israel’s rights and security needs balanced with real protection for Palestinian human rights and civil rights and security needs.

Unilateral UN decisions are not helpful, and in this case could prove counter-productive.
I’m not worried, nor should you be. The Scriptures make clear that the God of Israel will keep us and protect us and He neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is sovereign and good and on the job 24/7 and we can trust Him.  That said, we need to be wise and thus aware of the practical implications of this move.

Here is the full text of U.N. Resolution 2334.

Here is an analysis published by the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot (Ynet News):
  • The resolution makes Israeli citizens that are involved in the settlement enterprise in the West Bank vulnerable to lawsuits in courts all over the world.
  • Jerusalem is also worried that the resolution opens the door for lawsuits against Israeli officials at the ICC: government ministers and senior IDF officers who make decisions about construction in the settlements, the demolition of Palestinian homes, or the expropriation of lands could be accused of war crimes under the Geneva Convention.
  • The resolution can also lead to the creation of mechanisms to monitor and report Israeli actions, which could lead to sanctions being imposed against it.
  • The resolution’s wording can also be seen as a victory to the BDS Movement, as it opens the door for boycotts of goods produced in the Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
  • The resolution includes an article requiring the UN secretary-general to report to the Security Council every three months regarding its implementation. This will lead to continued pressure on Israel, putting it in a constant defensive position, similar to South Africa during the apartheid regime.
  • Article 5 of the resolution calls to create a distinction between the State of Israel and the settlements built on lands captured in the West Bank and in east Jerusalem during the 1967 Six-Day War.
  • This article calls on the international community not to aid those settlements and allows for countries and organizations to boycott the settlement enterprise—either directly or indirectly.
  • Officials in Jerusalem are worried such a call would encourage the European Union to make its policy of labeling settlement products into law and call for a boycott these products.
  • Such a move would lead banks, gas stations, HMOs, retailers, high-tech companies and others to close their branches beyond Green Line to avoid being included in the “blacklist” of companies doing business in the settlements and consequently being boycotted as a result.
  • Officials in Jerusalem are also worried that other nations in the world will follow in the footsteps of the European Union—even if not by boycotting the settlements, then at least by labeling settlement products.
  • Nevertheless, the resolution cannot be applied retroactively and has no immediate practical consequences. Since it was adopted under Chapter 6 of the United Nations Charter, it cannot be forced on Israel. Only resolutions passed under Chapter 7 can be imposed.

Gawker Exposed Hillary's Secret Before Its Destruction! "AMERICA'S WIKILEAKS" Outed Controlled MSM?

C. Ervana

So Gawker caught Hillary commanding the MSM. They carried out her agenda, they obeyed her, and did as they were told. This is what the MSM is all about. They are the "fake news," putting Hillary's agenda over reporting facts. Now, the MSM and Hillary are accusing alternative news of being "fake." Why are they doing this? Because they lost, big time. Not only did they lose the White House, but they also lost their credibility and their reputations. Alternative news has grown very popular; Some larger Youtube alt-media channels are now outpacing major news networks like CNN, MSNBC, and ABC in average viewers.

The MSM and Hillary are calling for alternative media to be censored because of the growth. Eric Schmidt, Mark Zuckerberg, and other tech executives have responded accordingly. They all know, the future of media DOES NOT belong to the MSM. The people of Europe, America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand ARE SICK of the MSM, telling them to accept George Soros' migrants, to speak political correctness, to accept open borders and globalism, and that they are "racist" and "kkk members" if they voted or supported Trump.

An Open Letter to You in 2017: The Same Old Message for a Brand New Year

An Open Letter to You in 2017: The Same Old Message for a Brand New Year

As we enter the beginning of the New Year, many people are reflecting on the previous year and how they’ve lived their lives, and are making resolutions and determinations to live better in the coming year, whatever that may mean.

The process seems to involve a kind of refocusing on things that are important to us so that when we will have come to the end of this next year we will look even more favorably on it than the previous one.
As we anticipate the challenges and opportunities of 2017, I want to repost an open letter that focuses on the most important realities in the world. And the addressee of my open letter is you. No matter who you are—whether young in the faith, a seasoned saint, or not a believer in Jesus at all; whether we’re good friends, have only spoken a few times, or if I don’t know you from Adam—I can think of nothing more profitable that I’d like to say directly to you. And perhaps the most interesting distinctive about this open letter for 2017 is that it’s nothing new. It’s the same old message for a brand new year, because it’s the only message that is sufficient to transcend all times and cultures. It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope you’ll read carefully.

God is Holy
The Bible teaches that the entire universe was created by God. And that God who has created everything has spoken to humanity in the Bible. And the Bible tells us that a fundamental characteristic of God is that He is holy. 1 John 1:5 says, “God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.” That’s a way of saying that He’s entirely pure. God’s character is one of perfect moral uprightness. He is the essence of all that is good—so much so that, as the verse says, He can have absolutely no fellowship with “darkness”—no fellowship with that which is not perfectly holy, righteous, and pure.

God’s righteous character was expressed in the law He gave to Moses and the Israelites. You’ve heard of the Ten Commandments. They summarized the perfection of God’s character. These laws were directives for how people who were in a proper relationship with God must act.

We are Sinful
The problem is: all of us are sinful. We have all broken God’s law. All humanity has “gone astray like sheep, and each one of us has turned to his own way” (Isaiah 53:6). We’ve tried to live our lives without God, according to our own standards, in our own ways. Whether we’re drug addicts and murderers, or white collar, well-to-do, upstanding citizens, we do what we do because we want to do it, with no consideration for God and what He would have us to do. The Bible calls that sin. It is the missing of the mark, the falling short of God’s standard of righteousness.

And in your heart of hearts you know you’re a sinner. I don’t know anyone who would say that they are perfect, even by their own standards. Ecclesiastes 7:20 says, “There is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins.” And if God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all, then in order to have fellowship with Him, we’d need to be perfectly holy like Him. But we’re not. Romans 3:23 says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We are stained by the “darkness” of our sin. And this is a problem, because if darkness can’t dwell with light, and we’re darkness and God is light, we’re cut off from a relationship with Him. We become absolutely incapable of doing the very thing we were created and designed to do: to enjoy a relationship with our Creator.

There is a Penalty for Sin
But it’s not just that we and God can’t be friends. There’s a penalty to be paid for sin. The Bible tells us that that penalty is death, Romans 6:23: “The wages of sin is death.” But the death that Paul talks about there isn’t just physical death. It’s not like we pay for our sins by going out of existence. The death talked about in that verse is a spiritual death. This is hell: eternal conscious torment. Jesus Himself calls it “a furnace of fire,” where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:50).

The idea of hell grates against the sensibilities of modern people, because nobody thinks they’re really bad enough to deserve something like eternal torment. They might admit that they’re not the greatest of people, but surely they don’t deserve that. But their reasoning is skewed. The punishment for sin isn’t merely measured by the sin itself. In other words, while there are qualitative differences in the experience of divine punishment, murder, lust, and lying all receive the sentence of an eternity in hell. That’s because punishment for sin is measured by the One sinned against. All sin is fundamentally a sin against God, and He is infinitely holy. Therefore, sin against an infinitely holy God demands an infinite punishment. That’s why the punishment is so serious: because God is actually that righteous.

And so the bad news is that we’re sinful, separated from God, and doomed to spend eternity in hell. There’s nothing we can do about it. We can’t simply tell God we’re sorry and we won’t do it again. What would you say about a judge who let a guilty, convicted criminal go free because he was sorry and said he wouldn’t do it again? You’d call him an unjust judge. But God is a perfectly just, perfectly righteous Judge. God’s justice demands that sin be punished, and the only payment is eternal spiritual death.

God Became Man

But the Good News is: God saw the miserable condition of humanity, and took pity on us. He knew that there was no way we could ever earn our way back to Him. We could never pay for our sins. But just when man was absolutely hopeless, when we were all doomed to spend eternity in hell with no way to pay our penalty, God the Father sent His Son to the earth on a mission. He was miraculously born to a virgin. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit miraculously conceived Jesus in Mary’s womb. And so being conceived by the Holy Spirit, Jesus was God. And being born to a human being, He was human. This is the greatest mystery in the universe. As finite human beings, we can’t entirely wrap our minds around this, but it’s true: Jesus was fully God and fully man.

He lived for 33 years on the earth. He grew up just like every other child. He became a carpenter like Joseph, His earthly father. The great difference, though, between Jesus and every other human being, was that He never sinned. Never once did He ever break God’s law. He always loved God with all His heart, soul, mind, and strength in everything He did. He never sought satisfaction outside of the Father Himself. He never disobeyed His parents, He was never selfish, He never spoke sinful words. In a word, He lived the life that you and I should have lived, but failed to live. He lived a life totally worthy of God, a life that was purely “Light,” like we said before, with no darkness at all.

Jesus Paid the Penalty
And because He was perfectly righteous, He was fit to be the substitute for sinners. The Bible records for us that the Jews plotted to kill Jesus because He preached a message that was very different to the religious establishment of His day. It was against the Jewish law to put people to death, so they sought help from the Romans, who were the governing body in Israel. Because the governor, Pontius Pilate, feared that the people would riot if he didn’t give them what they wanted, he agreed to crucify Jesus.
At the same time, Scripture also tells us that God sent His Son to die this way. It was all part of God’s plan. God used the sinful desires of the Jews and the Romans to accomplish something for His own good purpose. On the cross, Jesus suffered for sins. But He didn’t suffer for His own sins. He had no sins. He lived an entirely perfect life. No, on the cross, God “caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.”
The verse right before that, Isaiah 53:5, says, “He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.” What was happening on the cross was: God was carrying out the punishment against my sins—i.e., the pouring out of His wrath—on His innocent Son. Jesus voluntarily laid down His life in order to pay the penalty for sins. On the cross, God treated Jesus if He lived my life. And because I believe in Him, He treats me as if I lived Jesus’ life. See, because God is perfectly righteous, the only way to get to heaven is to be perfectly righteous. But because Jesus was perfectly righteous, and traded places with me on the cross, the perfect righteousness I need to go to heaven is His righteousness applied to my account.

After Jesus died, God miraculously raised Him from the dead three days later in order to show that He was satisfied with His sacrifice. Jesus was dead, but then He came back to life! It was a miracle. The Bible says God did this to “furnish proof to all men” that this message is true (Acts 17:30-31).

Our Response
And now, God promises that…
  • if you acknowledge that you are a sinner—that you have broken His law,
  • and if you admit that there is no way that you could earn His favor and His forgiveness,
  • and if you purpose to turn away from your life of sin and commit your life to Him,
  • and if you trust in Jesus’ righteousness alone for your acceptance before this holy God,
…then He will have treated Jesus as if He lived your life, and will treat you as if you lived Jesus’ life. You will be saved from the penalty of your sin, and will be able to enjoy fellowship with God forever in heaven, and even fellowship with Him starting now.
In other words, if you believe that you’re a sinner and deserve God’s punishment because of your sin, but you also believe that God sent Jesus to endure that punishment in your place, and that His sacrifice is the only way you can be forgiven, then God promises that He will forgive you and you will be saved. You’ll know the God who created you.

Don’t Waste Your Life

God designed your soul. And He designed you so that, just as a car engine is designed to run on gasoline, you’re designed to run on Him. He is what life is about. All of the disappointments, discouragements, and uncertainties of your life find their resolution in Him. And all of the satisfactions, fun experiences, and joys of life find their consummation in Him. Everything good in our lives is like a trail of breadcrumbs that leads us to the feast of God Himself. And everything bad in our lives is a reminder that life lived apart from knowing God in Christ is not the way it was meant to be.
And I also don’t want to see you waste your life. God created us for the purpose of rightly knowing and worshiping Him. That’s the meaning of life. That’s where true happiness and satisfaction are found. When you don’t live your life for that purpose, you waste it. So many people go through life seeking that happiness, but never find it because they don’t know what life is really about. I don’t want that for you. I don’t want you to suffer God’s wrath eternally for your sin. I want to spend eternity in heaven worshiping God with you, praising Him for how gracious He was to forgive our sins because of Christ’s sacrifice.

Receive Forgiveness
So would you receive Christ? Would you acknowledge your sinfulness before God and admit you can’t do a thing about it? Would you turn from your sin, and seek to live your life in submission to Jesus Christ? Would you trust in Jesus alone for your righteousness before God? Would you join me in worshiping the God we were created to know?

Trump Promises to Clean up Obama's Mess with Israel Post U.N. Vote

Trump is likely to reverse U.S. positions on Israel
Trump is likely to reverse U.S. positions on Israel

President-elect Donald Trump was quick to call out his predecessor President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry for their disrespectful treatment of Israel.
Trump told reporters Wednesday that he is “very, very strong on Israel" after the Obama administration decided last week to not veto a U.N. resolution that condemned Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory as a violation of international law.
Instead of having Israel’s back as an ally, the U.S. government did not use its veto power.
Not to mention, Kerry has had some harsh criticism for the country.
Kerry condemned Israel’s recent settlement activities and has described Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government as "the most right-wing in Israeli history, with an agenda driven by its most extreme elements."
Following the Obama administration’s lack of support for Israel, Trump made it clear that he was more than disappointed.
"If you look at what's happened, they are up for 20 reprimands and other nations that are horrible places that treat people horribly," said Trump about the recent U.N. actions. "There is something going on — and I think it is very unfair to Israel."
Trump shared similar sentiments on Twitter.
“We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect,” said Trump on Twitter. “They used to have a great friend in the U.S., but not anymore.”
Other political leaders also condemned Obama’s move, which has caused Israel PM Netanyahu to cut ties with 12 countries, including Britain, Russia, France, Japan, China, Angola, Ukraine, Uruguay, Egypt, Senegal, Spain, and New Zealand.
“Why are they taking steps to isolate and then kill a democracy and an ally?” tweeted the Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Monday. “President-elect Trump must prepare a comprehensive offensive…to undo the damage to Israel the Obama team is inflicting.”
Trump made it clear that change will come January 20th and encouraged Israel to “stay strong.”
“The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (U.N.)! Stay strong Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!” tweeted Trump.
PM Netanyahu believes that not only did Obama not veto the vote, but that he was responsible for it.
“We have no doubt that the Obama Administration initiated it, stood behind it, coordinated on the wording, and demanded that it be passed,” said Netanyahu
After Trump’s supportive words, Netanyahu thanked him on Twitter.
“President-elect Trump, thank you for your warm friendship and your clear-cut support for Israel!” he tweeted with emoji images of the U.S. and Israeli flags.

Author’s note: January 20th can’t come soon enough. This recent mistake has caused the U.S. to lose a valuable ally. Luckily, Trump has been called a “friend” by Netanyahu so he should be able to get us out of this mess fairly quickly.

What is the Impact, of Slow U.S. Population Growth?,Extinction?,

What is the Impact of Slow U.S. Population Growth? Extinction?

Population growth may be too slow to keep us from being overwhelmed
Population growth may be too slow to keep us from being overwhelmed
The U.S. population is growing at the slowest rate since the Great Depression, according to a Census Bureau report on December 20th. Specifically, the population grew by .7% from July 1, 2015 to July 1, 2016.
So what does this mean for the future?
Well, the economy, especially the housing market may have negative implications. But, there are other potential issues that could arise.
“There is a big reason to worry about the slowdown in population growth in the U.S. Many of our entitlement programs were created based on the assumption that we would always have an expanding population, as represented by a population pyramid,” writes The Hill.
“In other words, a relatively small group of old people, a large number of working-age people, and then an even bigger cohort of children. And with that demographic profile, a modest-sized welfare state (mostly based on redistribution from workers to retirees) is mathematically feasible.”
The impact on fiscal policy could be substantial.
“This has very painful implications for fiscal policy. In the absence of structural entitlement reform, this looming shift in America’s population profile means massive amounts of red ink as the baby boom generation moves into full retirement,” writes The Hill.
“This implies either big tax increases or significant budget cuts. Not because politicians actually want those changes, but simply because there will be too many beneficiaries and too few taxpayers.”
Of course, America’s population growth rate is slower than that of India, China or most Latin countries.
To paraphrase 18th century scholar Thomas Malthus: "Population expands to consume all available resources checked by war, famine and disease." With that in mind, the stagnant population growth is definitely concerning.
If the U.S. population growth rate was to actually decline, we would be overwhelmed by the staggering population explosion in the third world. While our generation may be safe, future generations may not be.  The inevitability of population pressure could force millions across our borders, to the point where a declining American culture is simply overwhelmed.
Another issue in the U.S. is that high-tax states, like Illinois and Connecticut are experiencing internal migration, where masses are fleeing to other states. The IRS reports that those leaving from these states, including Illinois are primary taxpayers.
“Most people have focused on the overall population loss of 37,508 in Illinois, but the number that should worry state politicians is, on net, a staggering 114,144 people left for other states. Only New York (another high-tax state with a grim future) lost more people to internal migration,” writes The Hill.
“Of course, what really matters, at least from a fiscal perspective, is the type of person who leaves. Data from the internal revenue service shows that states like Illinois are losing people with above-average incomes. In other words, the net taxpayers are escaping.”
In short, a population is either growing or dying. If our growth stagnates much further, we may not exist as a country in a few generations.
